We are happy to inform you that registrations are now open for the IX Feminist Economics Conference, to be held at the Pablo de Olavide University in Seville from 2-4 October 2025. This conference, commemorating its 20 years of history, is a unique opportunity for critical analysis and the construction of feminist alternatives to economics.
The central theme will be: ‘FEMINIST ECONOMIES IN THE FACE OF THE CAPITALOCENE: ANALYSIS AND ALTERNATIVES’. In addition, the conference will be structured around the following thematic streams:
1. Epistemologies and methodologies in feminist economies.
2. Ecofeminisms, agroecology, food sovereignty and ruralities
3. Care, interdependence and vulnerabilities
4. Time and work
5. Organisations, entrepreneurship and organisational alternatives
6. Popular, social and solidarity feminist economy
7. Public policies, taxation and budgets
8. Debt and financialisation
9. Technologies and digital economies
10. Global political economy, development and cooperation
11. Dismantling neoliberalism and the far right
12. Politicisation of malaise, resistances, re-existences and emancipatory horizons
13. Teaching and Teaching Practices in Feminist Economics
14. Male violence in an economic perspective

** Scholarships – At present we do not have sufficient funding, but the organisation is committed to seek funds to support those who wish to participate in the congress but do not have the funds to do so.
