On the occasion of the celebration of the First Meeting of Feminist Economics of Abya Ayala (Buenos Aires, March 26-28, 2025, https://efabyayala.com), we are calling for a global online meeting on Monday, March 31, in which we can reflect together on “Views and analysis of the feminist economies of Abya Yala in the digital sphere” .

Program

  • Brief Greeting and Welcome Introduction Agenda
  • Transfer of the main ideas and reflections shared during the First Meeting of Feminist Economics of Abya Ayala Representatives of the organizing committee of the Meeting.
  • Is there a specific debate on approaches from Abya Yala? What agenda for digital from Abya Yala? Brief interventions from various angles of Abya Yala and debate.
  • Shower of contributions and networking with a fishbowl methodology Interventions to briefly introduce oneself and share an idea, reflection, input, information on a new meeting, etc., 
  • Closing
    • Announcements of upcoming events, and presentation of COST Action PWILL network resource options to fund travel and meetings.
      • II Congress on Gender, Power and Technology, 2-4 September 2025, Warsaw, Poland.
      • IX Congress of Feminist Economics , October 2, 3 and 4, 2025, Seville.
      • Proposal for a call for contributions for a special issue on digital feminisms in an impact journal.
  • Closing reflections and thanks from the team at the Center for Digital Society Studies (CeSDI) of the IDAES School.

The meeting will be coordinated by the Interdisciplinary School of Advanced Social Studies (EIDAES) of the National University of San Martín (UNSAM), Dimm@ns (Barcelona) (host organization), and the COST Action PWILL network , in collaboration with the Future Feminisms group of the Center for Internet and Society at Harvard University, and the collaboration of the Debt Observatory in Globalization (ODG).
