The selection process will promote geographical spread (involving members affiliated with ITC institutions), career stage (involving YR&I), and gender balance in line with COST Excellence and Inclusiveness Policy. Priority will also be given to proposals with a gender perspective, those presenting work plans and outcomes clearly connected to WGs’ deliverables, leadership positions, and participants who have not received funding in previous grant periods.

Warning about predatory conferences

Recently, we have become aware of the proliferation of predatory conferences, “poorly organized or non-existent conferences that exploit presenters and attendees by collecting registration fees.” When identifying venues for presenting your research, please consider these and these recommendations to avoid predatory conferences. You can find more information about this growing phenomenon here.
